-- It's no Ultra, but EDC Orlando, a Florida outpost of the EDM mega-fest Electric Daisy Carnival, has become maybe the second-biggest electronic music festival in Florida. On Friday they dropped the lineup for this year's event, coming to Tinker Field Nov. 8-10. Among the headliners: Deadmau5, Diplo, DJ Snake, Rezz, Alison Wonderland, Afrojack, Kaskade, RL Grime, Excision, San Holo, Zhu, R3HAB and many more (including Tampa's own Blunts and Blondes). Tickets are on sale now for $199.99 and up. Click here for details.

-- Shooter Jennings is coming to the Attic in Ybor City on Sept. 29. Tickets are $55. Click here.

-- The University of South Florida has announced the headliner for its annual USF Round Up comedy show: Sal Vulcano from the truTV show Impractical Jokers. The Round Up is set for Aug. 29 at the USF Sun Dome, and is free to all. Click here for info.

-- Speaking of comedy, Carlos Mencia is coming to Side Splitters on Oct. 24-26. Tickets are $25 and up. Click here.

-- Rappers Ball Greezy and OmnBoc are coming to Whiskey North on Aug. 31. Tickets are $25 and up. Click here.

-- Add the Ries Brothers to the list of local bands with their own craft beer. Crazy Uncle Mike's in Boca Raton has brewed a one-keg-only batch of peanut butter and chocolate stout dubbed "Ries Peace." Unfortunately, it's only available in the brewery, and only tonight. But maybe there'll be a groundswell for the Ries Brothers to bring some to the Gulf Coast. Click here.
