Get out of the house this weekend for Mother’s Day. Our roundup of Tampa Bay venues offering free admission allows you to give Mom the gift of spending the day together. Many art museums will also provide complimentary entry, with lots of shopping options in their stores.

Bok Tower Gardens: All mothers receive free admission to the gardens and free carillon concerts at 1 and 3 p.m. Regular admission $15, $5 5-12, 5 and younger free, dogs $5. Opens at 8 a.m. Sunday. 1151 Tower Blvd., Lake Wales. (863) 676-1408. boktowergardens.org.

Chihuly Collection: Moms get in free with a paid admission. Florida Aquarium: Give your mother a bouquet of living fish and take her to the aquarium for free admission with the purchase of one full-price ticket. Imagine Museum: Bring Mom for free and visit the gift shop filled with incredible glass art. The museum is offering half-off memberships through May, so buy her one and she can return all year for free. 1901 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. (727) 300-1700. imaginemuseum.com.

The James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art: Mom gets hooked up with free admission and a mimosa at the in-house Canyon restaurant, which will feature a Mother’s Day menu. $10, $5 7-18. 150 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. (727) 892-4200. thejamesmuseum.org.

Masonic Home of Florida: Under the direction of Larry Patterson and Seraphime Mike, the Masonic Band of St. Petersburg presents the Mother’s Day Tribute. This musical salute to all mothers includes Lady of Spain, The Yellow Rose of Texas and Mothers of Democracy. Free (donations appreciated). 4 p.m. Sunday. Tampa Museum of Art: All moms get in free, and get free mimosas at the on-site Riverwalk Cafe.
